14 IDs is a collection, and distortion, of 14 personal ID photographs spanning from 1995 to 2012. Each photo has been scanned and converted for different purposes—combined to create distorted identification images and converted to audio to create a sound collage. It is an experiment with digital information, specificity of meaning, and noise—a convolution of the intentions of identification.
This project has been shown as installation and is an ongoing digital practice in which more IDs could be added and versions created.
